• The outer packaging is made out of FSC Certified recycled cardboard. They use an innovative glueless design in which boxes are held shut employing either tension or a locking mechanism. Additionally, they use no gloss or laminates during printing, to ensure that the cardboard remains 100% recyclable.
• Ao is currently exploring a partnership with TerraCycle to fully recycle their tubes and containers. In the meantime, if the components are taken apart, then the blue collar and blue cartridge (if rinsed) can be recycled through household recycling program.
• They are hoping to launch a Refill Program (replacing the blue cartridge only) for our Treatments and Serums in NZ soon.
• They are sourcing a PCR (post consumer resin) or Bio PET (plant based resin) to transition to next year.
